Faith's Hope
I can’t be contained
Through the duration of time yet I remain unnamed
See my transcendence is real
I’m often seen but not acknowledged
I can’t be contained
Subtly my existence intensity has reigned
My timeless presence is as old as man
I soar to greatness witnessed by all of humanity
I can’t be contained
I’ve kept company with the afflicted and pained
Both the righteous and theologians studied me
Victory is one of my many offspring
I can’t be contained
With my help men have been famed
My only equated answer is that you will over come
I am carried closely inside and spread worldwide.
I can’t be contained
By many oppressed I’ve been reclaimed
Despair and destiny are both considered my friend
But historically I’ve played the harmonies that ride the wind.
My remains are beautiful tapestries often played out in song
On my every emergence I’m always right and never wrong.
